Product Details:

• Material: Premium 1/2" mdf board with engraved shiplap lines for framed signs.  Round signs are made from 1/2" maple.

• Finish: Choose from either painted or unpainted.  Painted options include a frame stain color options of either Jacobean, Provincial or natural wood.  Unpainted always comes with an natural wood frame. 

• Styles: Choose between classic Rectangular (includes solid pine frame) or Modern Round (unframed).  

• Ready to Customize: Built to handle paint, vinyl, stencils, or 3D wood cutouts.

• Please note: All unpainted signs come with a Natural Wood frame only.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of paint should I use? Our signs work beautifully with acrylic craft paints, chalk paints, and even wood stains (for the unpainted versions). If using heavy layers of paint, we recommend a light sanding between coats for the smoothest finish.

Can I use a Cricut or Silhouette with these? Yes! The smooth, varnished surface of our painted signs is perfect for permanent vinyl or using stencils for crisp, clean paint lines.

Is the hardware included? 

• Framed Signs: These feature a 1/2" rear overhang on the frame, allowing them to hang securely directly from a finishing nail or screw—no extra hardware needed!

• Round Signs: These come with your choice of a rustic rope (perfect for a farmhouse look) or D-rings (for a flush-to-the-wall mount).  Leave your choice in the notes during checkout.  If not choice is left, I will do a D-ring.

How deep are the shiplap lines? The lines are precisely engraved to give that classic "plank" look without being so deep that they interfere with your lettering or vinyl placement.

Note: As each sign is handmade in Wisconsin, slight variations in wood grain and paint texture may occur, making your piece truly one-of-a-kind.
